We traveled to the wonderful city of Barcelona March 2019 to visit the special buildings of Gaudi, to see the city parks and of course to relax. While being in Barcelona, I took pictures of special trees in Barcelona when I encountered them. But what trees are special?

I did not photograph common tree species from southern Europe, since my time was limited ( you can find many of them here ). But I did photograph species I have not seen previously, or trees on beautiful places near Gaudi buildings and parks.

Bomengids.nl kent een aantal manieren (zoek sleutels ) om erachter te komen welke boomsoort je voor je hebt. Ik raad de volgende manieren aan:

De afstreep sleutel: de makkelijkste manier om een boom snel op naam te brengen. Als je (nog) geen boom-expert bent werkt deze het beste. Er is ook een versie om uit te printen en mee te nemen als je dat wilt.

De blad-sleutel werkt ook prima, maar is moeilijker. Je vergelijkt het blad met een heleboel foto's en kijkt welk blad lijkt op het blad dat je voor je hebt. Vervolgens kun je vaak aan een tweede kenmerk (de vruchten of de bast) zien welke boomsoort het is of tenminste tot welke familie een boom hoort.
Bovenin de knoppenbalk vind je meer zoeksleutels
Iedere pagina van een boomfamilie (de essen, eiken enzovoorts) kent weer zijn eigen zoeksleutel voor de betreffende familie. Je vind de boom-families linksboven in de knoppenbalk
