For determination details go to the main-key and the all species page. Dtermination between the red Horsechestnut and the Horsechestnut can be difficult. However, the flowers of the red are red (duh), and the skin around the chestnuts is different. With the red one there are only a few short stings, the white one has a lot of long stings.
